Information we collect

• Email address and ZIP code when you unlock the guide.
• Pet profile details such as pet name, breed, size, energy, play style and optional photo.
• Contact details you choose to share, such as Instagram handle or phone number, when you ask Mialo to contact you about a match or service request.
• Survey answers, guide interactions and privacy-friendly event data that help us understand neighborhood demand.
• UTM parameters, referring page and basic technical signals used for attribution, security and spam prevention.

Information we do not collect

• We do not ask for payment information from pet parents on this landing page.
• We do not collect precise GPS location. We use the ZIP code or neighborhood information you provide.
• We do not sell or rent your personal information.
• We do not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers.

How we use information

• To unlock and improve the Mialo guide.
• To understand which South Florida neighborhoods have demand for local matching.
• To contact you about a match or service request only when you ask us to do so.
• To prevent spam, abuse and automated submissions.
• To measure the landing page funnel with privacy-friendly analytics.

Contact consent

When you submit a match or service request, Mialo asks for explicit permission to contact you by WhatsApp, text or DM about that request. You can withdraw that permission at any time by replying STOP or by emailing hello@mialo.us.

Sharing

• If you ask for a service connection, we may share the minimum useful details with a local independent provider so they can respond to the request.
• We use technology providers to host the site, process forms, protect the site and measure basic funnel activity.
• We may disclose information if required by law or to protect Mialo, users or the public from fraud, abuse or safety issues.

Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to operate the early Mialo experience, respond to your request, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations. If you ask us to delete your information, we will remove it from active systems within a reasonable time unless we need to keep a limited record for legal, security or consent-withdrawal reasons.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information by emailing hello@mialo.us from the email address you used with Mialo.

Children

Mialo is intended for people 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We use HTTPS and keep the landing page intentionally minimal so we collect only what we need. No system is perfect, but reducing unnecessary data is part of the design.
